There was brightness where there hadn't been before, but that brightness came with a strange feeling of disconnection. I could feel different without necessarily feeling like myself.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSo I drew it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA mouth filled with brilliant, almost unnatural sunlight. Golden warmth spills over the lips while darkness surrounds it completely.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLike much of my artwork, \u003cem\u003eA Mouthful of Sunshine\u003c\/em\u003e isn't meant to tell you exactly what you're supposed to feel when you look at it. It's an attempt to give physical form to something I couldn't explain with words.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMaybe you see hope in it. Maybe you see something artificial.
